Deep Core
[ ]Chardaan
The planet was orbited by the Chardaan Shipyards. The Rebel Alliance used these yards to build some of the RZ-1 A-wing interceptors used in the Battle of Endor.

Later, the New Republic used the same shipyards to build not only A-wings, but Y-wings, X-wings, B-wings, and E-wings. The shipyards were attacked by Colonel Cronus.
00
[ ]Eclipse
Eclipse was a planet in the Deep Core, hidden in an asteroid field. It was discovered by Tionne and Kam Solusar when they were looking for a safeworld for the Jedi. It was where Luke Skywalker created Eclipse Station during the Yuuzhan Vong War.
00
[ ]Foerost
Foerost was a Deep Core world on the Koros Trunk Line between Kuar and Kaikielius. It was orbited by the Foerost Shipyards, which was one of the Republic's largest and oldest shipyards. The shipyards' engineers removed raw materials from the planet and transported them to the shipyards in high orbit. The planet was originally a vassal colony of Kaikielius, but had achieved full Republic membership by 11,000 BBY.[1]

In 3,996 BBY, during the Great Sith War, a combined Krath/Mandalorian fleet stole 300 Galactic Republic warships from the shipyards for use during an assault on Coruscant. In 3,959 BBY, Sith Lords Revan and Darth Malak stole a major Republic fleet from the shipyards, triggering the Jedi Civil War. In 522 BBY, the shipyards were purchased from the Republic by the Techno Union.

In 22 BBY, the Techno Union secretly tightened the security of the shipyards, in preparation for the Clone Wars. Later during that conflict, the system was blockaded by the Republic. In 20 BBY, the Techno Union broke the Republic blockade through the use of a fleet of Bulwark-class Mk I battlecruisers, setting off the epic Battle of Foerost. This fleet ravaged Sector Zero until it was stopped by a fleet of Victory-class Star Destroyers.

[ ]Had Abbadon
Had Abbadon was an ancient lost mythic planet, located in the Deep Core. According to some legends, the planet may have been linked to the origin for the Jedi Order or its forerunners.

In 137 ABY Cade Skywalker planned to lure Sith Lord Darth Krayt to Had Abbadon in order to assassinate him and bring down the Sith Order and his Empire. By this time, the planet was home to an Imperial garrison loyal to the Sith usurper.
00
[ ]Kalist VI
Kalist VI was a planet located in the Deep Core. It was the homeworld of Dak Ralter. Kalist VI was a bleak, mountainous, desert planet, home to both an Imperial base and labor colony.

The labor colony was home to many prisoners of the Empire, including political prisoners and prisoners of war. The parents of Dak Ralter were imprisoned on Kalist VI since the early days of the New Order, and Ralter himself was born into captivity there. The complex itself consisted of a massive transparisteel dome, with a landing pad and several power fences around the perimeter. Shortly before the Battle of Yavin, Ralter and a Rebel prisoner named Breg used a stolen Imperial prison barge to escape from Kalist VI.

Approximately eight months after the Battle of Yavin the Empire took Jabiimi prisoners, as well as Jorin Sol, to the base where the Jabiimi were used for slave labor and Sol was tortured for information regarding the location of the Alliance Fleet. A Rebel team including Luke Skywalker successfully infiltrated the base posing as the crew of the Imperial tanker Nuna's Twins, with the intention of retrieving Sol. Luring most of the base's troops off-planet and into a trap, the Rebels rescued Sol and the prisoners, causing heavy damage to the base. After the attack the base was repaired and reinforced suspiciously quickly.

Core Worlds
[ ]Coruscant
The Galactic Center of Coruscant (pronounced /'kʊɹəsɑnt/), also known as Imperial Center or the Queen of the Core, was the political hub of the galaxy for millennia. It was generally agreed that Coruscant was, during most of Galactic history, the most politically important world in the galaxy. At various times, it was the capital of the Galactic Republic, the Galactic Empire, the New Republic, briefly the Empire Reborn, the Yuuzhan Vong Empire occupation, the Galactic Alliance, the Fel Empire and Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire. These governments, that all controlled Coruscant, controlled the galaxy in the process.

A large number of the galaxy's trade routes—including the Perlemian Trade Route, the Corellian Run, the Metellos Trade Route, the Koros Trunk Line, and the Leisure Corridor—went through Coruscant, making it one of the richest worlds in the galaxy. Tellingly, the planet's hyperspace coordinates were (0,0,0), and the military designation was Triple Zero. Accordingly, it was the main planet of the all-important 'Sector Zero', a military designation for the Coruscant and surrounding systems.

The actual planet-wide metropolis of Coruscant was divided into smaller 'cities', (though each was the size of the average country by most standards). Among these was the administrative center, known as Galactic City, Republic City, Coruscant City or the City of Spires under the Galactic Republic, Imperial City during the rule of the Galactic Empire, and New Republic City under the New Republic, and later Yuuzhan'tar when the planet was under Yuuzhan Vong control.
00
[ ]Belasco
Belasco was a Core World. It was beautiful and wealthy, with two notable tragedies in its history. The first was a war with a neighboring planet in 142 BBY. The second was a bio-plague introduced into the water supply by Jenna Zan Arbor. On average, every seven years, a natural bacteria invades the planet. The planet always prepares for it, they stockpile water for usage while the scientists contain the bacteria. But the new bacteria created by Zan Arbor was different, for it multiplied at every chance to contain it. The planet was ruled by a monarchy and was fairly wealthy, and its senator to the Galactic Republic, Uta S'orn, was highly respected until her patronage of Arbor was exposed by Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
00
[ ]Columus
Columus was the homeworld of the ancient Columi species, which lived in tree-spanning cities and developed interstellar travel in 100,000 BBY. Around 24,500 BBY it was the site of a battle during the First Great Schism. By the latter days of the Galactic Republic, Columus was something of a backwater, with Columi civilization having been overtaken in influence by younger species.

Though their technology was up to galactic standard, it was too specialized to attract significant trade. The Columi tried to attract trade by marketing their homeworld as a tourist destination, though the health benefits of Columus' low gravity were disputed.

During the Clone Wars, its therapeutic cloning technology was restricted as was all nonmilitary cloning. When the Galactic Empire turned its attentions towards Columus, the Columi reacted with uncharacteristic swiftness and joined the Imperial cause. Though the Columi feared and despised other, more "primitive" sentients, they were willing to lend assistance to the Empire in exchange for being left alone.

A minority of Columi went renegade, and lent their intellectual assistance to criminal organizations or even the Rebel Alliance. The Imperial sentientologist Obo Rin also claimed in his Catalog of Intelligent Life in the Galaxy that the Empire made first contact with the Columi, much as he did with the Mon Calamari.
00
[ ]Euceron
Euceron was a planet located in the Core Worlds, located closer to Anzat than it was to Coruscant. It was known for its smugglers and illegal activities. The planet hosted the Galactic Games in 26 BBY.

The government in charge of Euceron was called the Ruling Power. They felt underrepresented in the Galactic Senate and used the Galactic Games to prove their stability gain more power in the Senate and also to be put on certain important committees.

Before the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker won the freedom of Djulla Tyerell on Euceron by winning an illegal podrace during the Galactic Games. The champion of the Games was local athlete Maxo Vista.

During the Clone Wars, Jedi Master Tholme was dispatched by the Jedi High Council to mediate a dispute on Euceron.
00
[ ]Grizmallt
Approximately 3,950 BBY, Queen Elsinore den Tasia ascended to the planetary throne, and sponsored the scout Kwilaan, who discovered Naboo.

In 3,900 BBY, refugees fleeing from a violent revolution on the planet, led by Kwilaan, fled in an expeditionary fleet consisting of three colony ships—Beneficent Tasia, Constant and Mother Vima—which lost contact with Grizmallt but found a new home on Naboo. The monarchy of Naboo kept many of the outer regalia of the Grizmallt monarchy, but eventually become elected rather than hereditary.

Another Grizmallt expedition settled on Renatasia, a planet in what would become the Centrality, but it later lost contact with the wider galaxy. The colony was rediscovered in 13 BBY.[3] A third expedition colonized the harsh world of Nam Chorios. In addition, many other worlds were colonized by Grizmallt natives.

In the century leading up to the establishment of the Galactic Empire, Grizmallt was the center of one of the galaxy's largest industrial manufacturing facilities, rivaled only by Kuat Drive Yards and Rendili StarDrive.

At the start of the Clone Wars, the Commissars of Grizmallt ordered engineers and industrial spies to ensure that the planet could produce warships that would halt the advance Kuat had gotten on its contracts with the Galactic Republic.

Grizmallt was one of many Core Worlds that fairly quickly surrendered to the New Republic fleet of Admiral Ackbar after the Battle of Endor, along with Alsakan, Wukkar, and Coruscant.

[ ]Mawan
A civil war known as the Great Purge in 36 BBY left the beautiful capital Naatan devastated and in the control of three rival crimelords, one of them being Granta Omega in disguise. In 26 BBY, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker restored the planet to peace, though not before Jedi Master Yaddle died from a deadly chemical weapon she absorbed to save the city of Naatan and thousands of inhabitants. The weapon was detonated by Omega.

Later, 8t88 murdered Zokor Polpot on Mawan.

The social structure on Mawan was rather hierarchal, with the utilities (especially the water system) being run by the lowest caste. After the civil war, however, the structure was completely disrupted, with some utility workers gaining moderate power and exploitation of the common citizens.
00
[ ]Notron
Notron was possibly the original Human homeworld, according to Seoularian legend.

By the time of the Galactic Civil War, Notron was a lost planet, and its location was unknown. Notron may even have been an ancient name for an already known planet. For example, it may have been the Seoulian name for Coruscant, since the Galactic capital was often considered Humanity's homeworld.

Presumably, Notron was in the Core Worlds.
00
[ ]Shawken
Shawken was a Galactic Core world. It boasted an ancient civilization. Shawken was connected to Coruscant by the Shawken Spur.

The ancient Shawkenese civilization had constructed a weapon allegedly capable of destroying the entire universe. The Rik Duel gang accidentally activated the weapon, but the weapon was turned off by Kiro before it could do any harm.

Shawken was one of the first planets to join the New Republic.
00
[ ]Skako
Skako was an ecumenopolis and homeworld to the Skakoan species.

The planet was comparable to Coruscant in terms of population and scale, but lacked the latter's charm and aesthetics. Heavy atmospheric pressures, a methane gas base, and exotic chemical air molecules made Skako uninhabitable to any species unadapted to high pressure atmospheres. Though most of Skako was covered by urban sprawl, some examples of the planet's orginal ecosystem had been preserved in the form of vast fields of sprawling vines. Skako was also home to the Octuptarras—eight-eyed creatures with gasbag-shaped heads and multiple legs—that inhabited the planet's vines.

Few Skakoans invested in the protective Skakoan pressure suit required for traveling offworld, and thus the species was relatively rare abroad.

The planet was part of the Galactic Republic and the Techno Union, represented in the Galactic Senate by Wat Tambor, Foreman of the Techno Union. After the Clone Wars, the Skakoans' role in the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Human High Culture of the Galactic Empire resulted in their being persecuted. Most retreated to their homeworld, where they remained in isolation.

[ ]Cato Neimoidia
The oldest of the Neimoidian purse worlds, Cato Neimoidia was the location of Nute Gunray's secret redoubt. The planet was near the Neimoidian homeworld of Neimoidia, also in the Colonies region.

Only the richest of the Neimoidians were allowed to live on the planet. Their treasures were protected in vaults located in difficult landscape and protected by B1 battle droids. The cities of Cato Neimoidia were built on large bridges spanning massive rock arches.

Cato Neimoidia featured vast forests rich in flora and fauna. Notable species included the Neimoidian kreehawk, a dangerous but beautiful avian found in some aviaries.

Cato Neimoidia was one of many worlds colonized by the Neimoidians early during the Old Republic era. The wealthiest and most resource-rich colony worlds were known as "purse worlds" that served as administrative posts ruling their own set of colonies. These purse worlds were the only colonies allowed to carry the name of Neimoidia. Other Neimoidian purse worlds include Deko Neimoidia and Koru Neimoidia, both were nearby in the same region of the Galaxy. Cato Neimoidia was the oldest purse world and may have been one of the earliest Neimoidian colonies.

During the Clone Wars, it was a key member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and was defended by the Neimoidian Home Defense Legions.

Towards the end of the Clone Wars, it was the last Separatist stronghold to be taken in the Core Worlds and Colonies. In 19 BBY, the Republic launched an attack on the redoubt, led by Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, as well as Republic Navy Commander Jan Dodonna, to find Viceroy Nute Gunray of the Trade Federation and bring him to justice.

The bridge cities persisted in resisting the Republic, leading to a fierce aerial battle in which Plo Koon was shot down by his own clone pilots shortly after Order 66 was enacted by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who declared himself Emperor soon afterwards.

Months after the Clone Wars ended, agents of Bail Organa infiltrated on the palace of Darga the Hutt in a ruined city on Cato Neimoidia. They freed Darga's prisoner, Jedi Master Denia. Before leaving the palace, the agents overheard Darga's majordomo having a conversation with Inquisitor Draco.
00
[ ]Froswythe
Froswythe was a planet in the Colonies. It was a major source of meat and animal-based textiles for the Colonies and Core Worlds. Roaming herds of livestock included banthas and nerfs. Ycaqt were used for transportation.

Its sparsely-populated rolling prairies were home to bandit hideaways and tourist-oriented ranches, where livestock had to be guarded against inidgenous plains panthers.

During the New Jedi Order era, Core world criminal Fegred Ewd had a hideaway on Froswythe, and Jerren Durs owned a leisure ranch called Durs Ranch.
00
[ ]Hok
Hok was a planet located in the Colonies. The planet was split into two sides. One side was the desert wasteland that looked like Tatooine, while the other half was surrounded by pure darkness. This area also had a rich supply of crystals on which the people mined and traded.

It was established as a Gran colony in 1,000 BBY during an expansion period. However, the emigrating colonists left a significant imbalance in Gran society on their homeworld of Kinyen. Feeling they were destroying too many families, and diluting the Gran race, the government reacted with isolationist policies and prohibited unauthorized emigration from Kinyen and limited offworlders to special alien quarters in their cities.

This protected the Gran society, but it also isolated the Gran on Hok and Malastare who had begun to form strong bonds to their new homes. The Gran colonies continued independently, continuing the strong social bonds of Gran society but with loosened social codes. The looser social codes allowed for more corruption in the upper levels of colonial Gran society.

The famed Gran Podracer pilot Mawhonic was a native of this world.
00
[ ]Lao-mon
Lao-mon (or Sh'shuun in Shi'idese) was the jungle covered homeworld of the shapeshifting Shi'ido as well as many large predators. The Shi'ido choose to remain private from the rest of the galaxy and noted that they would contact the New Republic when they felt comfortable doing so.
00
[ ]Ord Lithone
Ord Lithone was originally an Ordnance/Regional Depot in the Galactic Republic. During the time of the Separatist Crisis, it hosted a Baktoid Armor Workshop factory which assembled B1 battle droids until Republic regulations forced its closure prior to the Clone Wars.

Baktoid complied, in a bluff to make the Republic believe battle droids were no longer in production. In truth, a battle droid army was being built in factories on Outer Rim Territories worlds such as Geonosis.
00
[ ]Trunska
Trunska was a planet in the Colonies. It was cool and rocky, with a thin atmosphere and many rivers. The Trunsks evolved there and spread out along Trunska's large network of waterways. The Trunsks eventually developed agriculture and formed cities, which grew into city states and eventually competing empires. Tyl the Deplorable finally conquered the entire world during its Information Age. His reforms led the Trunsks to new heights of technological advancement, and the species soon spread beyond their homeworld and joined the Galactic Republic.

During the reign of Palpatine, Trunska came under the domain of the Empire. The Trunsks were designated a slave species. The planetary emperor, Belgoa, publicly decried the enslavement but secretly cooperated with the Imperials as long as he had final approval over who could stay or go. The Trunskan emperors were served by a large Trunsk police force.

Trunska enjoyed brisk trade with other worlds. However, in the Imperial era, the sale of weapons was strictly forbidden there.
00
[ ]Wakeelmui
Wakeelmui was an Imperial world under the authority of Governor Yount. Its terrain resembled that of the forest moon of Endor, since many stormtroopers from Wakeelmui were sent to the garrison on that moon prior to the Battle of Endor; Sergeant Barich was one of them. This system is also tightly connected to the corporation Sienar Fleet Systems, though it is unknown whether this planet houses the SFS headquarters or merely a major manufacturing center.
00
Inner Rim Territories
[ ]Hapes Cluster (6 sub-boards)
The Hapes Cluster was a grouping of several hundred stars within the area of nebulous gases known as the Transitory Mists within the Inner Rim—an impediment to hyperspace navigation that had kept the stars of the cluster isolated from the rest of the galaxy from before 3,000 BBY. This region's high density of stars, nebulae and moons bathed its worlds—particularly Hapes itself—in bright light, which, over the centuries, caused the Hapans to lose most of their night vision.

The Hapes Cluster was colonized around 4000 BBY by a band of pirates, known as the Lorell Raiders, who had found safe routes through the Transitory Mists to hide from Galactic Republic forces. Because the Lorell Raiders would abduct beautiful women along with their plunders, they would take them back to Hapes and eventually, due to the isolated gene pool, give rise to the near-Human Hapans. When the Jedi finally wiped out the Lorell Raiders, leaving the male population practically nonexistent, Hapes became a matriarchal monarchy led by a Queen Mother. The first Queen Mother then established the Hapes Consortium based on the planet of Hapes, and closed the borders of the Cluster around 3,000 BBY, which would remain thusly until 8 ABY. By the time of the New Republic, the Hapan state contained sixty-three explored star systems with inhabited worlds, although it was suspected that as many as one hundred nineteen habitable planets existed in the Cluster.
00
[ ]Adari
Adari, adopted home of the Adarians, was a planet dotted with dense forested areas. It bought neutrality during the Galactic Civil War by supplying the Galactic Empire with extensive resources. Now, the planet was known for manufacturing, mining, and pacifism. It was located 400 miles east of Dantooine, and known as the "refudge planet" for outcasted Jedi and Rebel Alliance troops. The planet was filled with deadly plants that killed those who ate them. The planet was inhabited by Gungans, Wookiees, and few Humans.

There was a small ancient Jedi order who had taken home upon the surface of Adari. The smallest, but oldest order in history. They had made peace amongst the planet, mostly because it was mostly overseen by those who didn't care to go there. They had many small towns and cities. There was a Jedi academy started by Oucasta-Digani, an ancient Jedi Master, who originally stated that the Jedi could not win without soldiers.
00
[ ]Aleen
Aleen was the homeworld of the Aleena, located in the Inner Rim Territories. It had a Jedi chapter house[3], and remained neutral in the Clone Wars.

The Aleen Classic, a popular podracing event, was held annually on the planet. Aleen was directly represented in the Galactic Senate by Senator Bogg Tyrell. Other famous Aleena included the podracer Ratts Tyerell and the Jedi Master Tsui Choi.
00
[ ]Ambria
Ambria was a small desert planet in the Ambria system, located in the Stenness Node of the Inner Rim Territories.

Animal life on Ambria included herds of staga, small lizards called neeks, and the strange, evil dragons called Hssiss from Lake Natth, a place strong with the dark side of the Force.

It was home to the Jedi Master Thon shortly before the Great Sith War. In 4,002 BBY, Thon took Oss Wilum as his Padawan on Ambria, following the elimination of its life by a Sith Sorceress. In 4,000 BBY Thon took Nomi Sunrider as Padawan on Ambria. Also, it was the main war machine for the Sith Empire, creating warships for the Great Hyperspace War.
00
[ ]Denon
The planet was at the confluence of the Hydian Way and the Corellian Run. In terms of being an ecumenopolis, it was second only to Coruscant. Denon was a heavily-populated world that rose to prominence during the rule of the Galactic Republic.

Denon was where Zam Wesell trained to become an assassin, and was the location of a murder trial against Doctor Evazan, though he ultimately escaped from the courtroom. The planet was later adopted as the temporary capital of the Galactic Alliance following the resolution of the Yuuzhan Vong War in 29 ABY. Denon was chosen as the new galactic headquarters due to the fact that it had escaped the Yuuzhan Vong invasion unscathed, and thanks to its proximity to the Core Worlds. By 35 ABY Coruscant had become the galactic capital once more and Denon was the second most important world in the Galaxy once again.

Following the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Vahalii family, which had fled Kaikielius during Operation Shadow Hand, regained wealth and importance on Denon.
00
[ ]Foundry
Prior to the Clone Wars, it was one of the many Techno Union worlds to manufacture B1 battle droids. It was one of many worlds where such production was stopped by the Techno Union to give the illusion battle droids were no longer being produced, whereas in reality such droids were being mass-produced in secret Outer Rim Territories facilities such as Geonosis. Wat Tambor's private estate was located on the planet in the city Denus. The planet was rich in the minerals hfredium, kammris and dolovite: metals vital in construction of starships. As well as Minerals necessary for the construction of Durasteel, Ceraglass, and Chromium.

The Galactic Empire later used the planet to manufacture TIE/ln starfighters.
00
Expansion Region
[ ]Dorin
Dorin was a dark and dusty planet in the Expansion Region. It was the homeworld of the Kel Dors, with an atmosphere of a unique gas and helium.

The planet was situated between two black holes, making access to the planet limited, while space travel for the natives was highly dangerous. Dorin's atmosphere contained very little oxygen, and barely supported life. This atmosphere mix affected the evolution of the Kel Dor, requiring them to wear antiox breath masks to filter out oxygen while offworld. Kel Dor society and industry largely revolved around technology. Although most Kel Dors are regarded as highly altruistic to the welfare of other beings, their justice system was strict and swift to potential criminals and lawbreakers.

The planet was home of the Baran Do, a Force cult predating the Jedi. Dorin joined the Galactic Republic in 5,975 BBY, and had direct representation in the Galactic Senate. Because so many Jedi came from Dorin, the Republic funded the construction of an enclave on the planet. The atmosphere limited the regular students to Kel Dor, although many Jedi of other species visited the enclave to learn from the Kel Dor masters. While its isolation allowed the planet to remain unharmed by the Old Sith Wars, nearly all Jedi at the enclave on Dorin were killed by Sith assassins following the Jedi Civil War.

Dorin later joined the New Republic, and the Baran Do engaged in contact and exchange with the New Jedi Order.

Jedi Master Plo Koon, his uncle, and his niece, Sha Koon, were all from Dorin.

In 43.5 ABY, Luke and Ben Skywalker travelled to Dorin to consult the Baran Do and their involvement in Jacen Solo's fall to the dark side.

Early in the reign of the Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, Dorin was blockaded by the Imperial Navy. The Sith then ordered that the best and brightest of Kel Dor offer their service to the Empire, or their people would suffer. As a result many Kel Dor entered the Imperial service, though the blockade remained in place. A secret route onto the world, called the Dorin Run, was discovered by smugglers, though it lay so close to the black holes, that all but the most reckless considered it too dangerous to use.
00
[ ]Indupar
Indupar was a Mid Rim world in Ado Sector. It was the capital of the Induparan Crown Worlds. It was ruled by the Induparan Monarchy, including King Dahon Indupar during the New Order. The Imperial Governor of the Induparan Crown Worlds was Mirash Peet. Imperial Commodore Soleric commaned the 16th Escort Force, escorting merchant convoys through the Induparan to protect them from the Free Lance.
00
[ ]Muzara
Muzara was a planet in the Expansion Region. Humans from Brentaal colonized the planet 4,000 BBY, barely avoiding conflict with the native Muzaran people, who were also known as the Muza.

The first Human settlement was built on the top of a high plateau, and was organized by the Brentaal League, which hoped the world would make a profitable agriworld.

The Humans brought harvester crawlers to Muzara, automated farming machines which tilled, sowed and harvested crops. The crawlers were purchased by groups of families, who also purchased claims on vast swathes of the planet.
00
[ ]Seltos
Seltos was a planet in the Expansion Region. Its Somin City was home to the largest Tarro remnant. Its primary industries included agriculture, lumber production, and mining of valuable ores. Visitors to Seltos' nature preserves provided a small boost to the economy as well. Natives of Seltos were considered congenial and pleasant.

An uprising against the Imperial governor of Seltos resulted in the formation of a pro-New Republic government. However, Seltos' Magister of Trade Sinya Deborra was revealed as an Imperial spy by a group of New Republic operatives who thwarted an Imperial plot to retake the planet.
00
[ ]Shili
Shili was the homeworld of the Togrutas. The legendary Jedi Master Shaak Ti was a native of Shili, as were Raana Tey, Hurana and Ahsoka Tano. The planet was a long-time member of the Galactic Republic and Togrutas had been in the Jedi Order since its earliest years.

It was the homeworld of many beasts, such as akul, which tribes of Togrutas had to work together to defeat in order to survive. The planet was covered with turu-grass scrublands and valley canopy forests. The most prominent city on Shili was Corvala, which was the capital. Shili is located in the Expansion Region near Hydian Way.

On a mission to Shili, Jedi Master Plo Koon found a young Togruta who had the Force potential and brought her to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. This Togruta was Ahsoka Tano, who became the apprentice of Anakin Skywalker.

After the Clone Wars, Kajin Savaros was sent there among the Togruta healers and The Silent to heal after his brainwashing attempt by Darth Vader and Probus Tesla.
00
[ ]Thisspias
Thisspias was the rocky homeworld of the Thisspiasians. Its militant people were ruled by a Blood Monarch for millennia. The planet joined the fledgling Galactic Republic and remained a member until the Republic's fall.

These Blood Monarchs included Oppo Rancisis's mother and sister. When the latter was assassinated in the alcazar of Ramatesh, Rancisis refused the crown, which was taken by a male. This new Blood Monarch was defeated in personal combat by Rancisis, whom thus ensured the Thisspiasians loyalty to and assistance of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars.

The Galactic Empire bombarded the planet and established an Imperial Governor, who killed the Blood Monarch and imprisoned the crown prince, subduing a local rebellion thereafter. The Rebel Alliance eventually freed the prince; for letting this happen, the Imperial Governor was assassinated by an Emperor's Hand. Thisspias was quarantined by the Empire until liberated by the New Republic after the Battle of Endor. The crown prince returned to his homeworld, but only managed to retake his throne after a brief civil war. Even after his victory, much of the populace viewed the monarchy as decadent and outdated.

Thisspias was also home to swarms of biting cygnat creatures.
00
[ ]Umbara
Umbara was a shadowy planet within the reaches of the Ghost Nebula. It was home to the Umbarans, a race of pale near-Humans. It was part of the Galactic Republic from that government's earliest days.

The founder of the New Sith Empire, Darth Ruin, was an Umbaran, and Umbara may have been a founding world of that Empire. It was certainly under Sith control by 1,002 BBY, when the Brotherhood of Darkness operated a Sith academy on the world that specialized in the training of Sith Assassins.

Since many Umbarans served as spies for the Empire, after the Battle of Endor most Umbarans retreated to Umbara, fearing retribution. The planet remained isolated even after the Swarm War, though many predicted the Umbarans would eventually seek to establish a presence in the Galactic Alliance Senate.
00
[ ]Woostri
Woostri was a planet in the Expansion Region known for its HoloScan Database, tourism, and automated manufacturing.

Woostri was almost entirely covered by ocean waters, which submerged a massive continent that once covered the planet. What little land remained above water was dominated by the Woostoids' vast automated cities and popular white-sand beaches. Some historians concluded that a major disaster occurred on the planet that caused this land to have sunk into the planet’s fragile crust.

The planet's atmosphere supported organic based life. The plant life of Woostri did not turn out an abundance of oxygen, causing many on the planet to believe it had a thin atmosphere when, in actuality, there was a shortage of oxygen that their bodies were striving to supply them with.

In the Old Republic era, Woostri's array of databases was second only to Coruscant's in size. The Woostoids supported the Empire due to their affinity for order. Woostri eventually joined the New Republic, but was captured by Grand Admiral Thrawn prior to his attack on Coruscant. Thrawn's Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Death's Head led the assault.

Mid Rim
[ ]Aargonar
Aargonar was a dusty, desert-climate planet of the Mid Rim. About a year after the Battle of Geonosis, it was the site of a significant battle of the Clone Wars involving Ki-Adi Mundi, Bultar Swan, Anakin Skywalker and A'Sharad Hett. The leader of the Republic forces was A'Sharad Hett.

The terrain was reminiscent of Tatooine for Anakin Skywalker, with rock arches and stone spires dotting the once watery-planet. The sarlacc species was possibly a native of Aargonar, with many known to have their habitats on this planet.

Aargonar's third moon acted as a Rebel Alliance base during the Galactic Civil War, but the Rebels were routed by the Galactic Empire around 0 ABY.

[ ]Anobis
Anobis was colonized by Human settlers, who were divided into two separate groups: the miners who lived and worked in the mountain mines and the farmers who farmed the lowland plains. The miners depended heavily on trade in order to survive and valued their relationship with the Galactic Empire. The farmers, however, were self-sufficient and resented the control imposed by Imperial law.

At the height of the Galactic Civil War, the farmers wanted to join the Alliance to Restore the Republic while the Miners feared doing so would result in the loss of their Imperial trade. Thus an intense civil war broke out and raged for nearly two decades until 24 ABY when Han Solo met with the leaders of both groups and stopped the fighting. Later, during the Yuuzhan Vong War, the planet was conquered by the extragalactic Yuuzhan Vong.

[ ]Bimmisaari
Bimmisaari, the capital planet of the Halla Sector, was the homeworld of the Bimms and the adopted homeworld of a near-Human species of the same name who settled the planet in 2,000 BBY. The planet was directly represented in the Galactic Senate and allowed a RRM settlement in 22 BBY, prior to the Clone Wars. It became more and more corrupt, joining the Confederacy of Independent Systems, but escaped most of the turmoil of the Clone Wars and Imperial repression thanks to its remote location.

[ ]Blenjeel
Blenjeel was a desert planet between Ando and Kothlis, located far from the major hyperlanes. It was inhabited by enormous Sand burrowers, which dove up from the ground beneath their unsuspecting prey.

The terrain of Blenjeel was comprised mostly of wide deserts, noted for the unusual consistency of the sand, which shifted over time. Rocky outcroppings which were stable one day seemed to sink into the sand the next. These shifts were mostly attributed to the movements of the sand burrowers.

Ten years after the Battle of Endor, a merchant vessel was attacked by an Imperial Interdictor cruiser and crashed on Blenjeel, and Jedi apprentice Jaden Korr was sent to investigate. However, his shuttle was struck by lightning on its landing approach and also crash-landed. He was unable to save the merchants, the last of which was eaten by a sandworm shortly after his arrival, but was able to avoid the native sandworms for long enough to salvage from the merchant's ship the parts necessary to repair his shuttle. Shortly after this, Blenjeel was listed in galactic databases as a dangerous planet to be avoided.

[ ]Chalacta
Chalacta was a Mid Rim world represented in the Galactic Senate by Yudrish Sedran. The Chalactans were a well-known, baseline Human culture, though were so distinct, that they were considered Near-Humans. They were dark-haired, dark-skinned, and deeply spiritual. They were known for the Chalactan Adepts, who built many temples for their religion.

[ ]Falleen
Falleen was a planet in the Mid Rim region and home to the Falleen species. It had jungles, vast plains, and icy mountains.
00
[ ]Iridonia
Iridonia was the harsh homeworld of the Zabrak. Due to the harsh living conditions, the Zabrak were a hardy species. They took to flight and then space travel as soon as they could develop the technology, and by the time the Duros encountered them, they had already colonized five systems.

Notable Iridonians include Darth Maul, Bao-Dur, Eeth Koth, Agen Kolar, Drell Kahmf, Kass Tod, Sirak, Maris Brood, and Jurgan Kalta.

[ ]Ithor
Ithor was the fourth planet located in Ottega system of the Mid Rim. One of the oldest member of the Galactic Republic, it was a planet full of lush life, and the planet's surface had not a touch of civilization on it. The Ithorians themselves, otherwise known as "Hammerheads," built great floating cities that did not harm the surface, which they considered to be sacred. Entry upon the surface was forbidden, unless one stayed there permanently. Some Ithorians such as the Oracle were compelled to go down to the planet surface, however, as they "heard the call" of Mother Jungle, the Ithorian religion's personification of Ithor's world-spanning jungle. The surface of the planet of Ithor played host to numerous plants, including the bafforr tree, which possessed telepathic capabilities. The planet contained andurite stone, and every three Ithorian years was the center of the Time of Meeting. The planet had many moons in its night sky.

[ ]Naboo
Naboo was a planet that was the sector capital of the Chommell Sector near the Outer Rim territories. It was a largely unspoilt world with large plains and forests and oceans. It was mostly known as the homeworld of notable historical figures who played major roles in the downfall of the Old Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire, namely Padmé Amidala, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and Jar Jar Binks.

Outer Rim
[ ]Melida/Daan
Melida/Daan was a planet colonized in 1,020 BBY. It was constantly engulfed for centuries in a civil war between the Melida and the Daan factions. Eventually, a group called the Young, led by various children of the Melida and Daan, rose up and ended the civil war in 44 BBY. Obi-Wan Kenobi temporarily left the Jedi Order to help the Young in their quest, he helped end the war. It was presumably an urban area scarred from the war.

[ ]Tatooine
Tatooine was a desert world in a binary star system in the Arkanis Sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It was inhabited by poor locals who mostly farmed moisture for a living. Other activities included used equipment retailing and scrap dealing. The planet was on the 5709-DC Shipping Lane, a spur of the Triellus Trade Route, which itself connected to the Sisar Run. The planet was not far from the Corellian Run. It had its own navigation system. However, it would still play a role in galactic events, serving as the home of Anakin Skywalker. It was here that Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn recognized Anakin's potential to become a Jedi and where he introduced him to Obi-Wan Kenobi, his future master and mentor. Tatooine was also the home of Anakin's son, Luke, where he lived until his early adulthood. The planet built up a very bad reputation, often being viewed as the cesspool of the galaxy due to the high-level of criminals who could be found onworld.

[ ]Telos IV
Telos IV, often called simply Telos, was the fourth world within the Telos system, located in the Outer Rim Kwymar sector. Situated on the strategically-important Hydian Way hyperlane, on the edge of Galactic Republic-controlled space, the Telosian military and economic power bases were considered vital to the survival of the Republic. In addition, the planet played host to the Agricultural Corps, where Jedi who had failed their training were sent to work as farmers and laborers. During one of the earliest battles of the Jedi Civil War, Telos was devastated by forces of the Sith Empire. Under orders from Darth Malak, former Republic Admiral Saul Karath demanded the planet's surrender; upon being rebuffed, he carried out his orders to bombard the surface. Soon after, the Jedi Order, fearful of an attack on the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine and the possible loss of many valuable relics, chose Telos as the site for a secret Jedi academy and repository. This academy was eventually taken over by the Jedi Master Atris, from where she hoped to rebuild the shattered Order.

In the year 3,955 BBY, at the behest of Republic Supreme Chancellor Cressa, Telos was chosen as the first planet to undergo a Republic-sponsored restoration effort. This initiative, if successful, would pave the way for the restoration of other planets that had been ravaged during the recent Mandalorian Wars and the conflict wrought by Darths Revan and Malak. The Telosian Restoration Project called for the construction of Citadel Station, an immense space station that orbited the planet, to implement the restoration process. Overseen by the Telosian Council, the Ithorian herd of Chodo Habat was chosen to manage the project. Telos and Citadel Station played a crucial part in the Jedi Exile's mission to end the First Jedi Purge, when the station was attacked by Sith forces under Darth Nihilus. In the wake of the battle, the Sith Triumvirate was defeated; this resulted in the eventual stabilization of the Republic. Due in part to the Exile's efforts, the Restoration Project was ultimately successful, and Telos once again became a lush planet, with many Sacred Places and national parks that drew tourists from throughout the galaxy.

In the final century of the Republic, Telos was a politically significant world, noted for its natural beauty and thriving tourist trade, in addition to the numerous business interests that eagerly established contracts and treaties with the Telosian government. In 53 BBY, the Governor of Telos, a wealthy citizen by the name of Crion, secretly sought to annex a neighboring planet for its valuable minerals and factories. Recruiting his son, the former Jedi Xanatos, as a co-conspirator, a grievous civil war was started by the duo after the Telosian populace was alerted to the scheme, and as a result Crion was slain. Nine years later, Xanatos—having convinced the Telosians of his and his father's innocence—sought to industrialize the natural resources of Telos in a bid for personal power. His plan was foiled and rather than face judgment for his crimes, Xanatos took his own life. During the Galactic Civil War, Telos, along with other planets within Kwymar sector, rebelled against the Galactic Empire. During the Kwymar Suppressions that followed, Telos was once again attacked, ending with an Imperial victory.

[ ]Telfrey
It was inhabited by both Humans and native Telfreyans during the Galactic Civil War.

Yom Argo and Tay Vanis, two natives of the planet, assisted in the stealing of the Death Star II plans from the Galactic Empire, which in retribution ordered a Base Delta Zero attack, known as the Telfrey Holocaust, which rendered Telfrey lifeless and uninhabitable for generations.

Beyond the Outer Rim
[ ]Tingel Arm
The Tingel Arm was an exterior arm of the galaxy. It was home to the Corporate Sector. In the time just after the end of the Clone Wars, Imperial authority was limited to the inner systems of the Arm, and it was rumored that CIS Remnants continued to be active there, from 19 BBY to as far as 3 ABY.

In the years following the Yuuzhan Vong Invasion, the Galactic Alliance annually sent reconnaissance vessels out to the Tingel Arm in order to check that there were no lingering Yuuzhan Vong operating in the area.

[ ]Unknown Regions
The Unknown Regions, Unknown Space, Unknown Sector, or Unknown Territories was the collective term for all regions of the galaxy not formally charted; it differed from Wild Space in that Wild Space was usually minimally charted, but not fully explored.

The Unknown Regions could be broadly defined as areas not connected with the skein of reliable or well-known hyperspace routes spanning the galaxy, did not look to Coruscant as the ultimate center of civilization, or were not under the broad hegemony of the Galactic Republic before the Galactic Civil War—but the full reasons behind this lack of contact remain unknown.
00
[ ]Wild Space (3 sub-boards)
Wild Space was the frontier of galactic society, separating the known parts of the galaxy from the Unknown Regions.

One of Palpatine's last acts was to open up much of the region to more extensive exploration. Wild Space differed from the Unknown Regions in that some of Wild Space has been explored, though not extensively; whereas the Unknown Regions remained mostly unexplored.
